The Nightly Current
Never settle for the darkness.
It produces less and less
Of the hope sustaining twilight.
When you’re caught up in the night
Don’t head back towards the evening.
Letting go of what you cling
To, you’ll ride the nightly current,
Thus avoiding its full brunt.
Use the flow and trust the morning
Comes like winter heralds spring.
Hope lights up the pitch black night sky.
Kiss your hopelessness goodbye.
After dusk, secure your rebound.
Don’t head back, but turn around.
Use the daybreak as your beacon.
Always travel facing dawn.

IN THE DOOM of DARKNESS… PAIN FLOWS, AND INTO THE DAWNING… A LIFE GLOWS, THROUGH THE NIGHT, LET YOUR BITS OF THOUGHTS SPARKLE LIKE A STAR, TO KINDLE YOUR SIGHT FROM AFAR, LETS SOON BE LIGHT TO A DAY, FOR HOPE TO SHINE YOUR WAY…
Very beautiful, Suzette. Did you write it yourself?
